I’m Sam Rice. I served as an Infantry Machinegunner in the United States Marine Corps and worked in executive protection for a number of years. But, that lifestyle kept me away from my friends, family, and community, and I found myself looking for something that’d keep me closer to home.
I recalled visiting my extended family’s meat processing plant as a kid in Cuba City, Wisconsin (Weber Meats) and that led me to start my journey as a butcher here in St. Louis. I’ve worked in small-scale boutique butcher shops to larger USDA-inspected plants. Now, I’m marrying the two concepts to bring that craft and care to your neighborhood.
